apnea treatment, Dr. Arora brings innovation and compassion to every aspect of
his practice. As a valued board member of the dental school, he has championed
mentorship and progress, shaping opportunities for the next generation of

Rabbi David J.
Katz, DDS, is being honored for his unwavering commitment to dental education,
spiritual leadership, and community service. A distinguished dentist, respected
rabbi, and author of Kesser Dovid – The Halachic Guide to Dentistry, he has
advanced the conversation at the intersection of dentistry and halachah with
clarity and insight, providing guidance for both professionals and scholars.
Dr. Katz also leads courses on residency and practice preparation, mentoring
future dentists, and played a key role in the establishment of Touro Dental Health in New York as well as it’s new
location in New Mexico.
His dual dedication to oral health and spiritual guidance exemplifies the
values of Touro College of Dental Medicine—advancing education, serving
communities, and nurturing the whole person.
