Steven Lin DDS
Dr. Steven Lin is a pediatric dentist, who grew up in Brooklyn and currently resides in Queens. He completed his undergraduate journey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. He then obtained a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences in Newark, NJ prior to dental school. Dr. Lin earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree as part of the inaugural class at Touro College of Dental Medicine, where he served as Class President during his third and fourth years. Following dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital and then a Pediatric Dentistry residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, where he served as one of the chief residents.
Dr. Lin currently works as an associate in five different offices scattered across Queens, the Bronx, and Long Island. He is privileged to provide exceptional pediatric dental care for ethnically, economically, and medically diverse populations in his multiple locations. He is experienced in customizing his treatment plan to best fit each individual child, taking into consideration many factors such as age, behavior, caries risk, and special needs. By doing this, Dr. Lin strives create the best possible dental experience for all his young patients.
In his spare time, he enjoys swimming, traveling with friends and family, cooking, playing board games, and participating in trivia nights.
Amanda Morgenthal DDS
Dr. Amanda Morgenthal is a pediatric dentist and attending at Nemours Children's Hospital in Wilmington, DE. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College in Hawthorne, NY, graduating in 2020. During her time at Touro, she was recognized with an award for Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Morgenthal completed a residency in pediatric dentistry in Columbia, Missouri. She has completed the first half of her board certification in pediatric dentistry and is studying to complete board certification in 2026. She previously practiced in Bend, OR, as well as Klamath Falls, OR, treating the rural and underserved population at the latter. She is currently teaching residents enrolled in the pediatric program at Nemours Children’s Hospital and treating children with special healthcare needs. Dr. Morgenthal is passionate about dog adoption and enjoys spending time outdoors, meditation and yoga, and exploring local restaurants.
Morgan Atanasio DDS
Dr. Morgan Atanasio is a distinguished periodontist practicing in Hackensack, New Jersey. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Touro College of Dental Medicine, where she was a member of the inaugural Class of 2020. During her time at Touro, Dr. Atanasio demonstrated exceptional leadership, serving as Student Government Association President for four consecutive years.
Her academic excellence was recognized with her induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society upon graduating at the top of her class.
Following dental school, Dr. Atanasio pursued specialized training in periodontology and implantology, completing her master's in dental science and post-graduate residency at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, reflecting her commitment to the highest standards in her field.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Atanasio is actively involved in organized dentistry. She holds memberships in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, New Jersey Society of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, and the Northeastern Society of Periodontists. She also contributes to the Bergen County Dental Society, serving on the Executive Council, New Dentist Committee, and Council on Membership.
Alexander Black DDS
Dr. Alexander Black is a general dentist practicing at Scarsdale Dental Group in Scarsdale, New York. A native of Westchester, he attended Scarsdale schools before earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Binghamton University. He later completed a Post-baccalaureate Certificate in Premedical Sciences at Columbia University. Dr. Black obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College in Hawthorne, NY, as part of the inaugural class. During his time there, he was a founding member of the student government and served as class secretary. He was also honored with the Marc A. Rosenblum Award for Excellence in Operative Dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Black completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at NYU Langone Brooklyn Hospital. He joined Scarsdale Dental Group in July 2022. Outside of his professional work, Dr. Black enjoys waterfront walks and spending time with his family's pets.
